As Supply Chain Specialist at UBQ Materials in Bergen op Zoom you are responsible for managing and coordinating the flow of goods from suppliers to end customers. The key tasks of a supply chain specialist include:

Planning and managing the logistics process, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
Overseeing the maintenance of equipment used in operations to ensure safe working conditions for employees
Follow-up orders and Ensuring timely delivery of products to customers, while optimizing costs and maintaining the agreed service level.
Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations throughout the supply chain and anticipate on disruptions to meet the agreed targets.
Managing inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.
Developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the supply chain.
Analyzing data and using insights to identify areas for improvement in the supply chain, and implementing strategies to address these areas.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to logistics and supply chain management.
Collaborating with other teams within the organization, such as sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with business objectives.

Jouw kracht

Demonstrable experience 3-5 years
HBO Level in SCM/Logistics education and experience
Experience with ERP software (Oracle knowledge is an advantage ), WMS, TMS and replenishment tools.
You have a vision and execute it
Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, advanced Excel skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
An excellent verbal and written ability in English and preferably one other EU language (German is a plus)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment with high demand to flexibility.
