What you’ll be doing 

Your role is not just about selling; it's about shaping sustainable and innovative packaging solutions that meet the demands of major brand owners. As a Business Development Manager Packaging at Holland Colours you will act as a pivotal change agent within our organization and across the industry, driving innovation from the ground up. Your focus will be on building relationships and exploring new business opportunities to expand our market presence in the EMEIA region. Because of your established network, you know how to start a conversation with brand owners and key decision-makers. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead and support the creation and execution of customer tests (as the industry isn't just about mixing colors; it's about solving problems and enhancing experiences) 
  • Generate new business leads through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, and online platforms 
  • Active involvement with key industry associations 
  • Lead negotiations with potential clients to establish mutually beneficial terms and conditions 
  • Develop and implement effective prospecting strategies to expand the customer base

You'll be joining forces with our technical team, a group of additives experts and innovators who understand the intricacies of plastic down to the molecular level. With their expertise at your disposal, you'll have the tools and resources needed to turn visionary ideas into market growth. This is what you’ll need to bring:  

  • An established network in the packaging industry, especially with packaging brand owners
  • Profound understanding of market trends in rigid plastic packaging, recycling and additive concentrates
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or chemistry 
  • 10 years of experience in Business Development or Sales, with a focus on B2B transactions 
  • Willingness to travel across EMEIA to engage with clients and stakeholders
