What you’ll be doing 

As a Business Development Manager Building & Construction at Holland Colours you will act as a pivotal change agent within our organization and across the industry, driving innovation from the ground up. In the siding market, there is a tremendous opportunity to introduce our highly weather-resistant products. Regarding MS Polymers, we have a revolutionary product exclusive to Holland Colours. Your focus will be on building relationships and exploring new business opportunities to expand our presence in the siding market and MS polymer sealants sector. Because of your established network, you know how to start a conversation with brand owners and key decision-makers. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead and support the creation and execution of customer tests (as the industry isn't just about mixing colors; it's about solving problems and enhancing experiences) 
  • Generate new business leads through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, and online platforms 
  • Active involvement with key industry associations 
  • Lead negotiations with potential clients to establish mutually beneficial terms and conditions 
  • Develop and implement effective prospecting strategies to expand the customer base

You'll be joining forces with our technical team, a group of colorant experts and innovators who understand the intricacies of our products down to the molecular level. With their expertise at your disposal, you'll have the tools and resources needed to turn visionary ideas into market growth. This is what you’ll need to bring:  

  • An established network in the Building & Construction industry, preferably in siding or MSP Sealants 
  • Profound understanding of market trends in building and construction, PVC compounding, Silicones, Sealants, and Coatings 
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or chemistry 
  • 10 years of experience in Business Development or Sales, with a focus on B2B transactions 
  • Willingness to travel across Americas to engage with clients and stakeholders
