Warehouse Manager

As GXO continues to expand one of the largest and most advanced logistics hubs in the Netherlands, located in Lelystad, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead a key part of our operation. In this role, you will drive daily performance, develop high-performing teams, and ensure that processes run safely, efficiently, and in line with customer expectations.

What your week looks like as a Warehouse Manager

• Plan and organize the weekly workload, set clear priorities and ensure smooth operational execution in line with KPI and rate expectations.
• Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders and Supervisors to build high-performing and engaged teams.
• Monitor performance, analyze deviations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement using LEAN principles and GXO Warehousing System practices.
• Coordinate workload planning, staffing levels and shift support to ensure a reliable and efficient operational flow.
• Ensure full compliance with safety standards, legal requirements and GXO policies, promoting a strong safety-first culture.
• Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of operational processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and engage with the customer on daily operational topics, while contributing to sustainability and efficiency initiatives.
• You regularly meet and align with your Operations Manager, to whom you directly report, ensuring clear priorities, performance follow-up and smooth coordination across the operation.
